What is the Force USA M20 Cornerstone All-In-One Trainer?
The Force USA M20 is a premium All-In-One Trainer that combines a power rack, functional trainer and Smith machine (Optional Upgrade) into one integrated strength-training system. Its six-post design can be positioned against a wall to save space or configured as a walk-through training station for 360-degree access.
What makes the Force USA M20 different from other All-In-One Trainers?
One of the M20's biggest differences is its professional-style 3" × 3" 11-gauge steel construction, combined with Force USA's Freestyle Pulley Arms. The pulley arms can operate in a fixed Lock Mode or a freer-moving Flow Mode that provides up to 180° of movement for functional and rotational exercises.
Does the Force USA M20 include a Smith machine?
The Smith machine is an optional upgrade. It is included only when you select the M20 Plate Loaded + Smith or M20 Weight Stacks + Smith configuration.
What is the Dual Force Twist Lock system?
Dual Force Twist Lock allows each Freestyle Pulley Arm to switch between 1:1 and 2:1 pulley ratios without having to remove the attachment or reroute the cable. The 1:1 setting is designed for higher resistance strength work, while 2:1 provides greater cable travel for full-range functional exercises.
Can I choose between plate-loaded and weight-stack versions?
Yes. The M20 is available with either a plate-loaded resistance system or a selectorised weight-stack system. The plate-loaded version supports up to 270 lb / 122 kg per side, while Force USA currently specifies a 200 lb / 91 kg base stack, upgradeable to 250 lb / 113 kg.
Can the M20 be upgraded from plate-loaded to weight stacks later?
Yes, Force USA states that conversion is possible, although the machine must be partially disassembled to replace the resistance assembly. If you already know you want selectorised resistance, starting with the weight-stack configuration is therefore the simpler option.
Can the Force USA M20 be placed against a wall?
Yes. This is one of the M20's standout design features. It can be positioned against a wall for a more space-efficient gym layout or used as a walk-through six-post system that provides front-to-back access and a 360-degree training environment.
Can two people train on the M20 at the same time?
Its walk-through configuration is specifically designed to support simultaneous, dual-sided workouts. The functional trainer, Smith machine and power rack can also remain accessible at the same time, making the M20 particularly versatile for multi-user training.
What exercises can I perform on the Force USA M20?
The M20 supports a very broad range of strength and functional exercises, including squats, presses, rows, lat pulldowns, cable flyes, face pulls, curls, triceps exercises, rotational movements, Smith machine exercises, pull-ups and landmine movements. The adjustable Freestyle Pulley Arms greatly expand the number and direction of cable exercises available.
How strong is the M20 cable system?
Force USA specifies 6.2 mm nylon-coated, mil-spec aircraft-quality cable tested to 2,000 lb. With both Freestyle Pulley Arms operating at 1:1, the current specifications state that the system can provide up to 500 lb / 227 kg of total cable resistance.
What size are the M20 uprights?
The current M20 specification lists 11-gauge 3" × 3" steel uprights, with 1-inch holes spaced every 2 inches on all sides. This also provides broad compatibility with equipment designed around the professional 3×3 attachment standard.
What are the dimensions of the Force USA M20?
The exterior dimensions are approximately 49" W × 61" D × 86.5" H (approximately 124 × 155 × 220 cm). Width increases to approximately 77" / 196 cm with the Smith Machine. The internal rack width is approximately 43" / 109 cm.
What ceiling height do I need for the M20?
The machine itself stands approximately 86.5" / 220 cm high. Force USA recommends approximately 100" / 254 cm of ceiling clearance if you want enough space to perform a full pull-up with your head above the bar.
What attachments are included with the Force USA M20?
The official attachment list includes an aluminium lat pulldown bar, pair of knurled handles, close-grip/landmine handle, magnetic landmine, bodyweight assist strap, triceps rope, ankle cuff, J-hooks, spotter arms, plate-storage horns, barbell holder, collars, pull-up handles and various pins, chains and carabiners.
Does the M20 include a bench, Olympic barbell or weight plates?
A separate bench and Olympic barbell are not included as standard. The plate-loaded M20 is designed to work with your existing compatible plates, while the weight-stack version includes its selectorised resistance system.
What optional accessories are available for the M20?
Swivel Seat, Leg Holder and Low Row Footplate, which can expand the exercise possibilities of the M20.
Is the Force USA M20 suitable for a serious home gym?
Yes. The M20 is designed as a high-end training platform for users who want rack-based barbell training, Smith machine exercises and functional cable training within one system. Its ability to sit against a wall also makes it particularly useful where gym floor space is valuable.
How long does the Force USA M20 take to assemble?
Force USA recommends allowing approximately 4–8 hours for assembly and notes that having a second person and suitable tools can make the process considerably easier.
