What is the Force USA C10 2027 All-In-One Trainer?
The Force USA C10 2027 is a premium all-in-one strength training system combining a power rack, Smith machine and functional trainer with Force USA's six-pulley Cornerstone® system. The updated 2027 model features a more streamlined footprint, upgraded independent Freestyle Pulley Arms and improved ergonomics.
What weight stacks are included with the C10 2027?
The C10 2027 comes standard with dual 200 lb (approximately 91 kg) weight stacks. Each stack can be upgraded to 250 lb (approximately 113 kg), allowing up to 500 lb of resistance when both upgraded stacks are connected through the appropriate 1:1 cable configuration.
What cable ratios does the C10 2027 use?
The C10 offers multiple cable ratios. The bottom centre cables operate at 1:1, while the top centre cables and Freestyle Pulley Arms operate at 2:1. This provides heavier resistance for strength exercises while retaining smooth cable travel for functional and isolation movements.
What is the difference between the 1:1 and 2:1 cable ratios?
At a 1:1 ratio, 20 kg selected on the stack provides approximately 20 kg of theoretical resistance before normal system losses. At 2:1, 20 kg selected provides approximately 10 kg of theoretical resistance but gives you greater cable travel. The C10's different ratios allow you to choose the setup best suited to the exercise.
What are the Freestyle Pulley Arms?
The C10's independent Freestyle Pulley Arms can operate in two modes. Lock Mode fixes the arm in position for conventional strength exercises, while Flow Mode allows the arm to move dynamically with up to 180° of freedom for functional, rotational and sports-specific movements.
Does the Force USA C10 2027 have a Smith machine?
Yes. The C10 incorporates a single-column Smith machine with an approximately 16 kg / 35 lb integrated bar, spinning sleeves and a low starting position that allows a greater range of motion for exercises such as deadlifts.
Can I use Olympic weight plates with the C10?
Yes. The C10 accommodates Olympic weight plates for Smith machine and rack-based training. The functional trainer itself uses the integrated selectorised weight stacks.
What are the dimensions of the C10 2027?
The exterior frame measures approximately 122 cm wide × 142 cm deep × 222 cm high. Overall width increases to approximately 195.5 cm with the Smith machine. The internal training area is approximately 112 cm wide × 122 cm deep × 211 cm high.
How much ceiling height do I need for the C10?
The C10 itself is approximately 222 cm high. Force USA specifies additional overhead clearance for performing full pull-ups, so check your available ceiling height before installation.
Does the C10 include a bench?
No. A bench is sold separately. The 2027 C10 can be paired with Force USA's C10 Base Bench or Sliding Bench, depending on the exercises you want to add. Force USA South Africa already lists the C10 Base Bench as SKU F-C10-BB.
What is the difference between the C10 Base Bench and Sliding Bench?
The C10 Base Bench is the lighter, more manoeuvrable option and supports leg curl, leg extension and preacher curl functionality. The Sliding Bench adds those functions plus cable-driven leg press and hack squat, making it the more comprehensive lower-body option.
Are a barbell and weight plates included?
The integrated Smith machine bar and functional trainer weight stacks are included. A separate Olympic barbell, Olympic weight plates and bench are sold separately.
How many attachments are included with the C10 2027?
The C10 includes a substantial selection of cable and rack accessories, including cable handles, tricep rope, lat pulldown bar, ankle cuff, dual cable connector, J-hooks and spotter arms. I would list the exact included accessories separately under What's Included rather than making the FAQ overly long.
Does the C10 have built-in storage?
Yes. The 2027 C10 incorporates storage into the frame, including eight Olympic plate storage horns, 12 pegboard pegs, accessory storage and barbell storage, helping keep the training area organised.
How long does the C10 take to assemble?
Force USA estimates approximately six hours for assembly. Because of the size and weight of the system, having another person assist can make installation easier.
Is the C10 2027 suitable for a home gym?
Yes. Force USA specifically positions the 2027 C10 for serious home-gym training. Its combination of rack, Smith machine, six cable connections and integrated storage is designed to provide extensive training capability within one footprint.
